Defective unit, expect me to pay for return shipping

Received unit and was defective on arrival. The light/laser isn't centered in glass of red dot. Which I believe is causing an issue where the light is reflected back at user. Also feel like that is causing the dot to be blurry. Contacted Votatu and got a response back fairly quickly. Told them the issue and said I could not make the problem appear on video or pictures. They insisted to see pictures and videos, which I sent and told them again the problem won't be visible. Then they send me an amazon link with a blank amazon return label that requires postage. I completely understand if I just didn't want the item. I would be expected to pay return shipping. I ended up sending back but an requesting a refund instead of a replacement.
