Gold is Gold, but ROI is a Factor on any Paydirt
I have been collecting and panning pay dirt for years and have bought dirt from a large number of companies. Over the years I have accumulated about 7 ounces of gold, mostly at 1/2 g to a gram at a time. As a supporter of GPAA I have tried their pay dirt twice. It is a mixed result. On the one hand Gold is Gold. If you buy a gram of gold and hold it long term, you will do just fine. That has been my experience, but not all pay dirt is the same either. On the pro side of it, the dirt is clean and the gold is easy to pan. On the down side of it you are looking at about a 40%-47% ROI give or take, and the gold is pretty small too. Simply put, there are a lot of lower ROI pay dirts out there for sure, and a lot of pay dirt which is harder to pan. So if you are looking to support GPAA's mission and want a dirt that is clean and easy to work, this is great. But if you are looking for potential to get a better ROI, or for a chance to find a decent flag or nugget; then this is NOT for you. This is good, what I call, grandchild pay dirt. You know, get the kids together and they can pan it and find gold, and unlike some dirts, you are not going to be picking dog hair, buckshot, and plant matter out of the dirt, nor will you be trying to suck flour gold out of black sand. So its not a bad product at all, but it is for certain types of people (i.e., the grandkids and those on the GPAA mission).

Good Gold
I purchased this paydirt to dial in my Miller table. Good gold and almost no black sands. Great paydirt for the novice. (Lots of sparkling mica. Helps train the eye for real gold)

Not as good as I was expecting. Hopefully future bags will be better.
