The monkfish cheeks were nicely packed. Delivered very promptly and in good frozen condition.
Have not cooked the cheeks yet, but propose to make a fish curry with them.

They required the removal of skin before use - a bit fiddly but ok.
The cheeks were ideal in the paella I was making and delicious and easy to cook.

Although these cheeks were absolutely fine in terms of condition, they had a slightly gelatinous texture which I couldn’t cope with and had to throw them out.
I pan-fried them in butter with capers and lemon and was expecting the usual meaty firmness but they were sort of scallop-y.
I won’t be ordering these again unfortunately.
Shame as everything else I’ve ordered has been brilliant.
