Dreamcatcher Neckpiece Masterclass

I enjoy a challenge, colours, texture & having something unique & this class ticks all of the boxes for me. I also like the fact that the neckpiece is light to wear around my neck, I can no longer wear anything heavy & chunky. The video is very clear & I was able to pause it so I could catch up to Aluma & continue. So far I have made 2, the first was mainly with wool because I used what I had, the second one was made using cottons after I’d been to a yarn shop, both are very different from each other. I have colour ideas already for a third & look forward to making it, I highly recommend this class.

I’ve only made a practise neckpiece as I’m waiting for mercerised cotton yarns. I made it watching the video instructions. These videos are incredibly informative. I haven’t looked at the written pattern yet as it was not needed.

I’m having a lot of fun with this pattern! And simply unlearning crochet. I see the potential also to diversify from the original and adapt to the different yarn thicknesses and textures. I’m almost finished with all my yarn leftovers and want to buy more to make more dreamcatchers - I want one for each piece of clothing I have 🥰
