Difficult to apply

I only managed to use one out of three sets. They were really hard to apply. It was even difficult to remove them from the tray, as they were stuck on so fast. They were breaking up as I was gently pulling them out. The glue then stuck to the applicator, and my fingers. I almost gave up in exasperation. However, I got lots of compliments on how they looked after I had (limited) success. I felt that the inside edges didn't stick down properly.
