Midea 8,000 BTU DOE U-Shaped Smart Window Air Conditioner

The product came to me damaged and unusable. I'm trying to deal with customer service to get a replacement, but they will only send me a shipping label to return it and get a refund, and then if I want I can order a new one. The problem is that I bought this item on sale, and the company is refusing to honor the price at which it was purchased. I do not want a refund and then have to re-purchase the product, I simply want a replacement for the damaged product that I received. I should not be penalized and have to pay more for something that was damaged through no fault of my own. I am very disappointed with this level of customer service, or lack thereof.

Product is very quiet and works well to cool the room, however the customer service is terrible. The front cover came cracked and is falling off, but they said they are backlogged until November. Originally they said July, but then said it would take even longer to get the part. Not great, i have low confidence in them helping if there are any future issues with the unit

One of my units was faulty. I have been waiting dor a refund, have chatted twice with someone about this and both times have guaranteed an email stating i am receiving a refund, but have mot received any email. Terrible customer service.
