I bought a pair of these 2x12 cabinets. Ive used them for bass guitar and as PA speakers. They shine for either. The cabinets are well built and the speakers sound excellent. I am using these speakers with a Behringer Inuke amp and they sound so clean that they sound almost as good as my home hifi speakers, but 3 times louder. They only issue I have had was that two of the 1/4 jacks broke when I had a cable plugged into them and the cable was bumped into by another cabinet. This caused the 1/4 inch jack to break and fall off into the cabinet. This has happened to me twice. It was an easy repair to replace them with better jacks, but I think the quarter inch jacks on these speakers are flimsy at best. That is my only complaint with these speakers. While I had the back panel off these speakers to fix the quater inch jacks I looked inside. The 12 inch woofers look very beefy, the compression driver for the highs is beefy as well. There is a crossover. The box construction was adequate. I was surprised at how well made the components were in these cabinets for the cost. Other than the 1/4 jacks, everything else on these speakers is quite good. The metal grills, sturdy handles, and excellent fit and finish combined with the loud clean sound make these a tremendous value.
