Better than I could make

Back country apple pie is a surprisingly tasty treat out on the trail. Better than most apple pies I've bought either fresh or frozen, I usually get an extra one or two to keep at home. In fact, all the products I've tried from Back Country are very nice and far better than the MREs of old, even if some of them aren't 'exactly' what they are supposed to be, like the Beef Strog - it's a nice meal but it isn't really a stroganoff, more like a braised steak and rice (no real 'creamy tomato & onion flavour' and no potato - but it's quite alright anyway).
