Beautiful sandal, iffy fit

These are gorgeous sandals, and I really wanted them to work for me. The footbed is very cushy and felt comfortable during my initial try-on. Unfortunately, I've had trouble keeping them on my feet while wearing them. My foot is a standard width with a standard instep, so I don't think this is an unusual fit issue on my end — I suspect it's more a combination of the smooth leather footbed and the strap sitting slightly loose. I'm hoping a sandal insert might help with grip, but as it stands, I'm disappointed these haven't worked out for me. I went with my normal size of 38. They would have been too big if I had sized up per the suggestion.

Favorite sandals to wear this summer

I am a big fan of Margaux shoes but these are my first sandals. I followed the suggestions on what size to order, which can be difficult as every pair of Margaux shoes I own are a slightly different size. That can make ordering challenging but every Margaux shoe I own fits so well it is hard to complain. Customer Service has been very helpful suggesting sizes and having the option to order a wide rather than to just go longer has been beneficial. I was worried that the sandals might show wear early with the woven strap and dark sole but they have held up well and haven’t stretched out or gotten sloppy. I would highly recommend.

Perfection

These sandals look fantastic and were completely comfortable right out of the box. Great cushioning; soft leather. I sized up slightly (US consistently size 8M; ordered 38. 5).
