Seat Vent Protector for Volvo EX30/EX40 and Lynk & Co 02/08

Good idea, poor attachment design

The single double sided tape provided does a very poor job to secure the vent protectors. I decided to attach a couple of Velcro pieces on the bottom side to stick to the car floor and it has a much better hold. With the Velcro, I can easily attach or detach from the car floor.

Good vent protector

Its ok, but a little big bigger than the vents, I recommend you use the glue strip that the vent protector have plus another glue strip or velcro stickers.

Easy to install

This is a pair of plastic grill / covers to fit over the rear passenger air conditioning vents hidden under the drivers and passengers seats on the Volvo EX30. I was surprised to find that the vents under the seats are simply open slots that would be only too easy to get blocked by rear seat passengers shuffling anything left on the floor into them with their feet. Each vent protector has double sided tape strips which hold it in place securely. This is a very easy and inexpensive upgrade that could save money and unnecessary trouble with the air conditioning in the future. Simply raise and push the seats fully forward to expose the vents, remove the tape cover and push in place. An easy and worthy under 5 minute job for anybody with an EX30.
