Alpha 4.0 Motorcycle Jacket - White

I was a little hesitant about ordering a motorcycle jacket online without being able to try it on first, but I needn’t have worried. The communication from Grant was excellent from the outset, particularly when it came to sizing advice. His guidance was spot on, and the jacket arrived here in Western Australia within a week. The quality really is second to none. There are so many great design touches - you can just tell it’s been designed by a motorbike enthusiast!! After more than 30 years of riding, I can honestly say it’s already the favourite motorcycle jacket I’ve owned. The fit is great too. I’m 5’11” and 80kg, and the LARGE fits perfectly. Based on both the quality of this jacket, the customer service, and as an Aussie owned company, I’ll definitely be looking at other Akin Moto products in the future !! Thanks again.

Great jacket for Canberra

I got to use the jacket for the first time, it was around 12 degrees in Canberra and overcast. With a tee shirt and light pullover, the Alpha 4 (with liner) was very warm and comfortable. I can easily see this being warm at zero or below with appropriate thermals. Fit is good, and very comfortable. One minor criticism, the snap 2nd from the top is not quite strong enough. With the top snap undone, when I turn my head the 2nd snap releases. This in no way a major issue, and with the top snap done up it holds firm. Definitely going to be by daily jacket throughout late autumn, winter, and early spring.
