I bought one of these a month ago and it has lasted very well with our german shepherd. I decided to get another as a spare but this new one is very different to the first - the outer piece seems to be softer rubber and the inside ball is very hard (unlike the original which is more like a tennis ball). Not sure how the second one will last - fingers crossed!

My dog absolutely loves this and days later hasn’t managed to damage it… yet. I bought it on a whim but am so glad that I did
