1TB SATA VIDEO HARD DRIVE 3.5" HDD FOR HDR-1100 FREESAT BOXES [SELF-INSTALL]

Excellent Western Digital hard drive.

The original hard drive in my Humax HB 1100S was a Toshiba that ran extremely hot and only lasted 2 years. This Western Digital Green 1 tb replacement seems fine - runs cool. So far I'm very pleased, both with the HD and the service provided by Freesat Spares.

Was easy to install works perfect. A lot cheaper than buying a new Freesat box

Didn’t fix my box

Received the 3.5” HDD , with zero instructions. opened up my Humax box, it has a physically much larger HDD so no means to Mount the drive. Plugged it in and tried it, didn’t work, machine didn’t recognise the drive. Probably the unit has a PCB fault which I now realise is quite common
