Bandit Sports EZ Curves

My 10 year old was very excited about throwing different types of pitches with these balls. He played with these more than the Tee Popper the first day they arrived. But after playing catch with them for a day, he wanted to try and hit the pitches. After 10 hits or so, I noticed a chunk of foam was peeling off the end of one of the balls. Now he is afraid to hit the other 2 balls because he doesn't want to wreck them.

I ordered these the beginning of December. They didn’t come in until the second week of January. I ordered the regular Ez curves & received the minis. Multiple emails sent with no reply.
