Elegant & Practical – With a Small Strap Wish

I was on the hunt for something small and hands-free for quick errands—no bulky handbag, just the essentials. The Crossbody Phone Wallet fits my iPhone 12 Pro on one side, my Bon Maxie Everyday Mini Wallet on the other, plus keys, lip balm and even a slim tissue pack. You can also skip a wallet altogether thanks to the built-in card slots and zip pocket—so handy. The chocolate pebbled leather is beautifully soft, and the brushed gold hardware gives it such a polished, elegant feel. My original plan was to keep it inside my Everyday Tote and grab it for coffee runs or quick dashes into the shops. But I found swapping my wallet between bags a bit fiddly, and I kept reaching for my Bottle Bag instead because it suited my everyday system better. So while I love how sleek and elevated this piece looks, it didn’t quite slot into my daily routine the way I’d hoped. I was instead excited to use it as an event bag, but the straps were my main drawback (hence 4 stars). The long strap slipped off my shoulder, and the wrist strap felt a little wide to grip and slid off my wrist when too. For me, they didn’t quite match the elevated look of the leather. I ended up attaching the wrist strap from my Everyday Mini Wallet—and it completely transformed it into the perfect formal pouch! Overall, it’s a gorgeous and thoughtfully designed piece. I just wish it came with full leather wrist and crossbody straps to truly match its luxe feel to be both an everyday bag and formal bag.
