A Dictionary of Color Combinations 2nd Edition / Seigensha

I bought both the Color Dictionary Applied Edition and the Color Scheme Dictionary. Both volumes are excellent companions to the Designer’s Guide to Colour series by Chronicle Books and significantly, more expansive with the examples of applied colour schemes. These are essential reference books for all visual artists.

I love this little book. It's an endless source of inspirational color combinations in a delightful format. I brought it along with Volume Two, which includes examples, and I'm glad I did. This was my first time buying from Bungu, and it was a wonderful experience. In what I think of as the Japanese manner, the books arrived wrapped in a cloth furoshiki, along with a freebie greeting card in the bottom of the box.

What a lovely reference book for any aspiring artist. I have already ordered a 2nd book as a gift for a friend!
