No trench foot.

In the past, I have not used foot lubricants but recently used Salty Britches on my feet at 100mi mountain trail race with hot conditions and many stream crossings. No trench foot, no blisters. The only draw back was applying at night after the temperatures had dropped. Have your crew keep the tube in a pocket for easier application!

The best chafing/repair creams I've ever used.

The best foot lube/chafing cream I've ever used (better than those that come in a blue stick or metal tins). It's a super thick gel/goop that goes on easily and works really well. It absorbs into the skin creating a protective barrier and doesn't allow my feet to get any hot spots or blisters when running in warm weather. It also doesn't leave your fingers feeling greasy and holds up in all weather conditions. The black and blue are the same formula and for the same purpose (different scents and marketed to different demographics, but the same ingredients). I use the red tube for dry skin care and it works wonders (it's 96* here where I live so the winter conditions aren't exactly there). Overall a great product and will be switching to this from now on.

I was skeptical at first. I have always been a body glide person. Being a bigger runner chafing is a problem for me. The first time I applied the cream I thought there was no way it would work, I was wrong. I ran 8 miles to the pool then swam for a few hrs and it was still on. It also works as an ointment to soothe skin after chafing. I unfortunately did not apply before a salty beach run of 20 miles the other day, big mistake, but I applied it as a salve after I showered. It protected and soothed me better than anything I have ever used. So far so good. I look forward to the many other opportunities I have to use these products. I am glad I purchased salty britches.
