Real Pay Dirt

This was one of those purchases where I opened the box and immediately realized I had gotten way more than I expected. Calling it “paydirt” honestly undersells it. My box was mostly actual mineralized material, not a bunch of dirt with a few interesting pieces hidden in it. I found fluorite, amethyst, calcite, mica, malachite, hematite, brecciated material, UV-reactive pieces, crystal pockets, and some genuinely weird combinations I had never personally handled before. A lot of it fluoresces, but what really got me was the geology. The Humming Bird Mine in Colorado has clearly had a complicated history, and you can actually see that story in the material. Some pieces look like multiple geological events happened to the same rock, which makes sorting the box ridiculously fun if you like figuring out what you are looking at instead of just hunting for one obvious “prize.” Here's one of my favorites of the 20+ specimens I was lucky enough to pull and trim up from just one box.

The whole process for shopping to shipping was convenient and easy. Pay Dirt did not disappoint! Absolutely love hummingbird mine!! Beautiful specimens :-)

Came as promised! And had a nice specimen included. Not a lot of junk or “filler” like most paydirt out there. Definitely getting more!!
