Straight Chino Pants

Impressed with the fit and quality

It’s so nice to have pants that fit right out of the bag. I purchased the straight chino pants in black in a size 34x26.5. I will say these pants do run a bit smaller, I usually wear a 32w or 33w depending on the brand. I’d size up 1 size if you’re in between sizes (5’6 183 lbs). As for the length, the 26.5 was a perfect length, which falls at a half break with most of my shoes (sambas, Solomon xt-6, vans old school, dr marten 1461s). The length does flood above my ankle more than I would like when I’m sitting down but not a huge issue. Additionally, I would have liked the leg fit to be a bit looser (I have thicker legs), but the silhouette was still comfortable and breathable. Im hoping there will be relaxed/loose fit chinos in the future.

I may never buy pants anywhere else

At some point I just accepted that pants would never really fit me off the shelf. Then I found Abbreviated, ordered online without trying them on, and they were the best fitting pants I've ever bought. Immediately ordered more in other styles/colors. The 32" waist is perfect for me, and I've bought some in the 28" inseam and some in 26.5" for different styling/shoe options.

Straight chino pants

This is the third pair of straight chino pants i’ve bought and just love them. They fit great, and feel comfortable. I would recommend ordering a size up they tend to run a little tight if you order your normal waist size.
