DCF Repair Kit

New Zipper installed after 142 nights

This was actually the second zipper pull I had to fix on my Xmidpro1, the first was back in January on the Florida Trail and he sent me a free replacement. After that occurrence I just got the kit to have handy on trail and around the 130th night spent in my little tent, the other zipper started to separate, I was able to do a field repair using my tiny Swiss Army knife scissors and the dynamite patches to install a new pull. Thanks to Dan Durston for standing behind your gear, even when the problem is the normal wear and tear after over 100 Pitches. My little X-Mid has been performing well since 2024 and knowing I only need to send an email if I encounter any issues, I know I will be taken care of. Loyalty has been earned!

Xmid Pro 1 Vent Strut Repair

I contacted Durston regarding a carbon vent strut that had pushed through the end caps and pierced the DCF sleeve. The tent was in warranty and Durston were fantastic in sending some replacement struts and a DCF repair kit to fix the issue. Durston’s response to this issue highlighted their exceptional customer service. I strongly recommend them to others looking for quality gear that is backed up by the company.
