Stimulating Feeder Mat For Dog

My ACD needed some rainy day entertainment. This mat gives her a good 20-30 minutes of stimulating activity, enough to make her need a snooze afterward. My lazy Lab was curious, so we let him try it, too. He rooted around in the feeder mat so long that he needed to lie down to finish it!

This snuffle mat is well made and serves its purpose well. My dog likes to hunt for treats. When it’s cold, we play inside. Instead of hiding treats around the house, i put a handful in the mat. He loves snuffling in the loops for the treats. He gets excited when i bring it out fir his ‘game’. Best if all, it stands up to his large muzzle and big teeth. A month, and no tears or rips! Still looks brand new-and not expensive if i find in the fiture i need to replace it. Love it!

We love this mat here! We use it as a snuffle mat for treats at times, and as a slow feeder for food at other times. It makes a simple task turn into an enrichment activity, and with the below freezing temperatures where I live this gives another little activity to keep her occupied inside!
