A Nod to Classic Perfumery

AGK leaves me wanting more than just a photorealistic, powdery iris at this price point. The white florals here are slightly indolic but thankfully never cross into medicinal territory. It's a mature classic-style fragrance. I was really hoping for that intimate, "your skin but better" warmth from the ambergris, but it ultimately feels like a vanity note here. This fragrance takes its time to bloom; by the ten-minute mark, the initial florals mellow out to reveal a truly beautiful floral musk. I just wish my nose could separate the citrus, neroli, and peach—they feel a bit muddled in the mix. I’ll give this a full day's wear test before my final wrap-up.

Nothing But A Name

I selected this based on the name and what my imagination convinced me it would smell like. I did not enjoy this at all. It's very strong, which normally I'd love. It smelled old lady awful.

This is a lovely daytime fragrance it’s soft, ladylike and elegant. If you don’t like a powdery scent do not buy. Also, this fragrance isn’t unisex it smells like how “greatest generation” ladies used to smell when dressed up. I layered it with 51 one day. Enigma the next day and Elixir the next day and thy all mixed well. I plan to purchase!
