ShockStop PRO Suspension Seatpost

Fitted the Redshift ShockStop Pro to my Fairlight Holt and I’m genuinely impressed. Took it out for a 47-mile off-road ride and the difference was remarkable. It absorbs bumps and vibrations brilliantly, taking away the harsh jarring you normally feel through the saddle. I was able to remain seated over rough terrain where I’d previously have needed to stand. What impressed me most was how unobtrusive it felt. There’s no noticeable bobbing when pedalling, and you barely realise it’s working until you notice how much more comfortable the ride has become. Combined with a few adjustments to my riding position, I finished over three hours in the saddle with no neck or lower back discomfort. It’s certainly not cheap, but for anyone spending long hours riding a hardtail, I’d say it’s worth the investment. One of the best comfort upgrades I’ve made to a bike. Highly recommended!

Great additions to my gravel/bikepacking bike. Very comfortable without being too noticeable and definitely worth the minor weight penalty

Smooth and steady

The perfect upgrade for removing all chatter from the track. The bike remains responsive and as a rider I still feel connected to the trail. Getting the height right is really important, especially if using shorter cranks. But once dialled-in the experience is really good.
