Hydra 130 in Saltwater

I've been very pleased with this boat so far. It's done very well in 1 - 3 foot seas in the gulf. Tracks very well and has a good hull shape for a paddle only boat in these waters. The seat isnt the greatest but can easily be upgraded with added cushions. Hard to beat this performance for a thousand dollar kayak

Great saltwater fishing kayak!

Just bought the Hydra 130 and I love it! Stable for it’s s dimensions and really cuts through the wind and chop, and it really looks cool. Great design.

Stable, roomy, and futureproof for both fresh and salt

I’ve paddled the Vibe Kayaks Hydra 130 in both freshwater and saltwater. I’ve had an absolute blast. I’m confident that this is a versatile boat for any water conditions - flatwater lakes, running rivers, and saltwater. I took it through some choppy surf in the ocean and the boat just easily rode over the waves. I felt comfortable and stable with the low center of gravity. I like how it’s designed to accept both a transducer through the scupper and a motor attachment for the rudder. There are loads of gear tracks (9 of them?) with an additional 2” x 4” mount at the front of the cockpit. My stoke levels are high. This is a great boat for paddling or fishing in whatever water you can find. Not too heavy either for solo loading and unloading.
