Honda AVAS Bypass

Works great! Easy to install once you figure out how to remove the clips and get them back in place. I wish there had been a YouTube video showing step by step how to do this, which would have been a big help. I figured it out after Googling how to reinstall the panel clips and its easy once you know how to push the center of the clips out so they can fit back into the slots and reattach. I wasn’t able to figure out how to find a place to zip tie the dongle to because its really cramped in there on the 11th Gen Civic Hybrid , so I just left it hanging inside, but I think it will be ok as there’s no place for it to go anyways. So glad they make this, as I hate the spaceship sounds. Its always the driver’s responsibility not to hit pedestrians or other vehicles so if you’re always driving carefully and reasonably there won’t ever be an issue in the first place. Just assume any pedestrians that don’t see you might walk out in front of you, and drive with extreme caution anytime you’re in an area where pedestrians are possibly walking, and all will be well.

If you’re tired of the space ship sound when you reverse or go forward. This is what you want! No errors massage. Super easy install. Just remember when you service your vehicle at a Honda Dealership to remove and put back to original condition or I’m sure your warranty will be voided.

Installs and works exactly as stated. Install took 5 minutes .the car used to scare people if I started out close to them. Especially in reverse. That is no longer a problem. Haven't come close to hurting anyone. Patrons did not like my car at the local restaurant. Doesn't bother anyone now.
