Installation did require shaving the outer lip from the timing cover behind the factory pulley. I'd bought my car with a lightweight pulley, and heard alot of good things both driveability and engine health wise, so I decided to give it a try (the price is rough lol) Can't say anything about the potential engine longevity, cars still on a limp/break in map. I CAN say, it is unbelievely smooth. Idle, and driving yielded close to no vibration, and seems to simply run better as a whole. Zero false knock feedback, no noise, the car just runs smoothly. I rarely give feedback so shortly after a part replacement, but this made a far bigger difference then I thought possible, maybe because I replaced a lightweight, would absolutely recommend it. As a side note, rallysport nailed delivery too. Was told by MANY retailers the part was backordered for a good 3 weeks. It was in my hand two days after submitting my order. (Though it might not be the case for everyone, figured I'd mention it, made my week!)
