Love the colors, soft, but sheds so much!

I absolutely love the rug! It’s a great size, color, and pattern for my home. It feels soft and thick, but it’s shedding so much I’m worried it won’t be thick for long. I’ve had the rug for 3.5 weeks, so admittedly not long. I’ve been vacuuming the rug on a gentle setting 3+ times per week but still is filling up my vacuum with shedding. We’re getting large fuzz balls off the rug, to the point of it being somewhat embarrassing when we had company over to see our new home. I also worry about the fuzz balls since we have a baby and cat that find stuff off the ground. I still love the rug and think it will be perfect assuming the shedding phase will come to an end soon.

I adore this rug! Pictures do not do it justice. We have a 1920 Craftsman and it looks so beautiful and vintage (without the weird fading some rugs have). It looks like it was made for my house! Now I need Allen Home to make more rugs that would be good companion rugs for my adjacent rooms. The quality is 100%. Yes, shedding because it is wool, but it is already less than it was initially so I know it'll get better. Highly recommend this rug and Allen Home. They are quite responsive to emails.
