The Universal Ice Bath Chiller

Really love this chiller? Works well in our bath tub. I don’t leave it on, just turn it on before using and it needs 2-3 hours (I got the pro so it’s faster). It’s a bit finicky: I have to click the reset button every time I re-plug it in, and the pump stops working if I drain and re-fill my tub. There are quick fixes to all of this (for the pump issue you just jiggle around the intake and open the air slugger) but it took some trial and error to learn.

I purchased the chiller and cover for my son as a move-in gift. He loves the set up with his bathtub for ease of use. He’s original set up was the round pod while using ice on a daily basis.

I bought the Universal Chiller, but there wasn't enough clearance in my bathroom so I just use the Standard Chiller with the Ice Pod Pro. I've had it for about a week, and I've been very happy with it so far. Setup was straightforward, and everything worked as expected. The initial cool-down from about 71°F to 55°F took several hours, which I expected given the amount of water it had to chill. Since then, though, it's had no trouble maintaining the temperature—even after I lowered the setting to 45°F. I also just changed the filter for the first time, and that was quick and easy. Overall, it's been reliable, quiet, and does exactly what it's supposed to do. If you're looking for a dependable chiller that's easy to set up and maintain, I'd definitely recommend it.
