I love that this special edition of Fangoria gives lucky readers an engaging in depth historical dive into one of the very first modern monsters. The articles are full of cool andecdotes, quotes, and pictures of the people behind the scenes of the various different portrayals of the mad doctor and his creature, from the tales of author Mary Shelly to the most recent Del Toro rendition there is alot to learn and enjoy. The only knock I would give this issue are the slippery, shiny cover is kind of weird to hold ( I do like that it can be easily folded back on itself however) and the captions for the photos are hard to read when they blend in with the background. Anyway, this is a fantastic edition and I am glad that I have it.

The Frankenstein Deep Dive

Great issue. So please to see Edison's Frankestein included in this. I teach it in my film class. I will be subscribing. I teach a HS horror class, so a Fango subscription feels essential.

My first issue of Fangoria. Worth the wait for the preorder. Arrived quickly and packaged so that my issue was in great condition. The photos and interviews are great!!
