Beautiful bracelet, but flawed clasp

The sapphire and diamonds look stunning, but the pull clasp for the bracelet leaves too much of the chain dangling so it tangles or gets caught on things all the time. I'll need to take it to a custom jewelry store to see if the chain can be replaced or modified as my wife won't wear it for this reason.
