Great collar for securing plates on barbell. It is stiff at first but breaks in for easy attachment.

I've only ever used those cheap sprint loaded clamp-style collars before. To me, these are a little hard to open and close and take longer to get on and off than those. They look nicer, but they aren't more convenient, and I don't really like them as much. The magnets seem plenty strong and that's a nice feature though.
