I purchased the adult size (I am a Grammy)to go out in the family group when my grandkids go trick or treating. The top under the mesh/netting material is white and stretchy, similar to a swimsuit material. There are cut-outs on the upper arm/shoulder area so if you are in a cold region, you could easily put a tshirt underneath to cover those openings. The top under the netting almost reaches my knees and I am 5'7" so it offers good coverage . The bottoms that come with are similar to tshirt material, so not true leggings, but comfortable.
