Surf Lesson

Gary was a patient and kind teacher. He had all the students, even those who were absolute beginners, up on their boards and getting waves. He did not spend a lot of time talking out of the water, but got the kids in quick and had them riding gentle waves quickly. I would highly recommend Gary and his lessons!

Did my first time surfing ever in Hawaii on vacation but didn’t surf again for almost a year so I decided on doing a beginner/refresher lesson with Dewey Beach Surf Shop. Garry is an excellent instructor who took time to help point out areas of improvement and just created a great, fun learning environment. Would absolutely recommend doing a lesson if you want to enjoy surfing.

garry was a wonderful surf instructor and he helped me catch a lot of fun waves for the whole hour! highly recommend to beginners and all levels alike :)
