I installed vertical doors on my C8 Corvett

I installed vertical doors on my C8 Corvette and, unfortunately, they were one of the biggest regrets I’ve had with the car. From the start, the doors were awkward and difficult to operate from both the inside and outside. What seems cool in photos quickly becomes frustrating in everyday use. After a few months, I also started noticing the doors rubbing against each other, which was extremely disappointing considering the cost and effort involved in the installation. The novelty wore off fast, and the constant hassle of opening and closing the doors made driving the car less enjoyable. After putting up with them for about six months, I finally decided to remove them and go back to the factory setup. It was honestly one of the best decisions I’ve made for the car. If you’re considering vertical doors for your C8, I would strongly recommend thinking carefully before making the investment. They may look impressive, but in my experience, the drawbacks far outweighed the benefits.
