I'm not a person that can handle smells, my nose definitely works:) but the de-stress scent is very soothing to me and very helpful when I encounter unwanted smells; I just get out my balm and dab it under my nose and on my neck, behind ears, and wrists, and it overrides the stinky and makes me happy!!
