ReCognition Redux

New favorite yoyo! I threw the recess diplomat for a almost 10 years (also a Colin Beckford yoyo) and this is the perfect successor to me. Throwing it for several hours a day. The color is great the feel of the finish is superb

Quality issues with first one, but fun to play

This was my first UNPRLD yoyo. I don't care too much about a little vibration in general, but the first one I got had so much vibe that it was really noticeable to me and a distraction. I checked that it was tight and the bearing seemed good so I asked YoyoExpert to replace it and they were awesome about it (great service). The replacement has a little bit of the same type of vibe I felt in the first, but not on a scale that I notice or care about. I chose the clear coat version because I like the bare metal look, but this one has a bit of a milkiness to it and not a nice metal shine like some of my other bare/metal yoyos. So the quality experience and presentation has been a little unimpressive. However, once I started playing with this I couldn't stop. It just feels good and plays very well. I enjoy the feel of the harder, higher grade 7075 aluminum. It's shape is comfortable in the hand, and while not as big as some other current yoyos, it's just the right size for an intermediate player like me. It's spins quietly and makes a more satisfying "ting" sound when the string slaps it than 6061 yoyos. It has good spin times too. While I think initial quality and cosmetics could be better, I am glad I bought it and really do enjoy playing it a lot.
