Hood Graphic for Wrangler 392

Have to be honest here- I messed up the install on the hood decal! Not because of the product at all- the vinyl is the long lasting kind you want and I immediately re-ordered to replace. The video calls for a dry install though- a decal of this size is really difficult for me to that. For what it’s worth (a lot!) I ended up testing a “wet” (soap and water spray, etc. same as side vent install video) install on my hood with a fragment of the remaining original decal. Worked like a charm for me. Next install won’t fail… and I’ll be installing via the “wet” method.

Tougher than you might think. Take you time making sure that as you work your way down or across the graphic that you don't leave any bubbles behind. If you do, the material is very forgiving, much more than you might think. Simply pull it back slowly, heat it gently, and the carefully press it back down into place. It takes time and patience. Stay out of direct sunlight.
