Plaid Tan Shirt Jacket

I had high hopes for this jacket because I like this style and had previously bought a similar Navy Blue window pane PF shirt jacket Sz L several years ago which is my most worn casual jacket. I wear a 42 R sport coat in PF clothing but this jacket is about an inch or more too tight through the back/shoulders - but fits everywhere else. With the jacket buttoned I cannot hug my arms across my chest or place my hands on the top of my head (easy to do with previous coat). I am returning this item rather than exchanging it because I believe that the XL will be too large and even if it fits across the back, it will be too big and baggy through the waist and sleeves. I would love to see more offerings in this style but please give me back the extra inch !!
