Ducky No. 3

One of my favourite chili oils! I’ve purchased them for gifts for my relatives in the States and they love it also! Very tasty without being excessively one note (not heavy in one spice versus the other) - a great balanced flavour overall! Worth the price!

I was looking for a recipe for Szechuan pork when I found holy duck. I didn’t have spices I would require so decided to order package #3. As soon as it arrived I made a recipe that I found and adapted. What was wonderful about the product is the chili lava created a beautiful smooth sauce for the noodles and pork. It was not excessively spicy but brought plenty of heat with the addition of the typhoon shelter sum sum seasoning. Just right for myself, who doesn’t enjoy anything overly spicy. My husband who loves things extra spicy added in the original chili oil and said it made the dish perfect for him. I look forward to using the product to create more fabulous recipes.

Absolutely lovely flavor while not being overbearing in spice.
