I don’t think the view was worth the climb, so to speak. I bought this to hopefully add a couple of crimp stations to my already 3 step crimp process, loading 3-1/2” (89mm) shells, which it was advertised to do. I identified a couple of problems in my initial setup, adjustment & loading. Firstly, the arbor that gets chucked into the drill has two flats 180 degrees apart. I don’t know if European chucks use that pattern, but our chuck have 3 jaws, 120 degrees apart. It’s difficult to get the arbor centered in the drill chuck so it doesn’t vibrate severely. Also, 3-1/2” (89mm) shells will max out the available adjustment in the press, and even then it’s a very tight fit to get a 3-1/2” shell under the dies. It can be done, but one has to go by “feel” rather than using the positive stop on some stations. I’m likely just going back to my previous setup (a Mec Sizemaster w/ Super Crown crimp starter, a ribassatore die replacing the final crimp station & drill press w/ BN3 finishing die).
