Good for medium to coarser fibers. Finer fibers may require more passes to get desired results. Not recommended for fine, silky fibers like cria alpaca, kid mohair or angora.
The polished, hardened steel tines have a long taper to a sharp point and shouldn't need straightening under normal use. They are flexible enough to take abuse and

The combs are just as nice as I expected, the tines are nice and straight and the wood has a nice finish (don't know if it's an oil or something or just a nice finish to the wood itself) and I'm happy with my purchase!
The price wasn't even as bad as I was anticipating from everyone on youtube saying they were expensive.
