GUNNE SAX for ModCloth Madilyn Midi Dress

gorgeous materials, flawed front design

The style and fabric of this dress are amazing and I wish I could keep it. I am beyond disappointed that it didn't fit and has a design flaw. The front panel where it laces up is so weird. It has fabric on one side and see-through mesh on the other side. You can see my bra and skin through the mesh. So weird. The fit is also really weird. I'm usually a size 12 or large. But the large was way too big for me and the medium fit better, but was tight in the waist and super baggy in the chest. I'm pretty average proportions so this is not common for me. It's such a beautiful dress, but the front closure details and the baggy low chest area make it not workable.

Amazing Dress

I’ve been to so many thrift stores over rhe years to find a GUNNE Sax dress in good condition & in my size. Thank you ModCloth for teaming up w GS. I received so many compliments when I wore my dress to Lincoln Center for a date night. I felt beautiful & comfortable. I first purchased a large but exchanged it for the medium.

It's a beautiful dress and fits tts but the zipper is very cheap and keeps sticking. Otherwise it is a lovely dress! Fabric is decent quality.
