Made some rave gear with two EL Wires going into this pack and the result is so satisfying. Not having to deal with batteries and great! Though the description says it is silent, there is still a small hum, nothing that can be heard over the music, though!

Quieter, sleeker but underpowered and expensive.

It's definitely A LOT quieter than those regular 2-AA el wire inverters, is small and looks great. That said it's still pretty hot and the energy capacity is low. There's 1200mAh (4.4Wh) 18650 battery in there, why not put a better one in there? 3000mAh(10Wh)+ batteries are cheaply available, especially in bulk. The worst part is probably my expectation, they are weaker than I figured, probably no more powerful than those 2-aa holder they're trying to replace. Definitely not something you can run a decent size wearable from like I was hoping and expect any level of brightness. But then you have to spend time charging it, vs popping in 2 more AAs on the go, so you have to have 2 for uninterrupted long glowing activity and things get expensive at this point...

Goes dim after 30 seconds.

Not sure if this thing is broken or what but only lights up bright for about 30 seconds and then goes dim real dim.
