Very bright, perfect for panel indicators

They're so efficient you can power them with one or two mA (or PWM down to 15%) and they are still plenty bright enough to see in bright conditions. The diffuse ones mean you don't get blinded by a narrow bright spot, and just require a 2mm hole in a panel - you can then cut/grind it flat so its flush. Looks so much better than mounting LEDs with bezels, neater and have a wide viewing angle.
