I was amazed how much thought has gone into the design of this carder. Easy to clean, because you don’t need a special tool to take it apart; easy to find your hand comb and lifting tool, because they’re in the handy space below the feeder; east to clean the drum, because of the cleaning reel that stays out of the way when not used! Well done!!

My BAM carder (Bold And Magnificent) arrived Tuesday, right on time. I had it up and running by sundown. I love it, love it , love it! The finish is beautiful. The addition of the front storage compartment is brilliant and so convenient as are the new wooden guides in front of the licker-In. And . . . and . . . and the magnets and the cleaning brush stored at the rear is GENIUS! I DO HOPE YOU HAVE A PATENT ON THAT. The inclusion of all the additions is astounding without changing the footprint of this traditionally bulky machine.

I love they way this drum carder works. It’s so easy to clean and that is a big plus. I wish the wood had been oiled before it was put together, but was able to put it on fairly easily.
