Hi! Chris was very helpful and answered all my questions regarding replacing the spring-loaded Future Shock with a rigid replacement. I am currently using my Diverge for riding laps in my neighborhood including residential streets, small climbs and basic trails on 35C tires. I am riding an aluminum Diverge and look for ways to lighten the bike. The Future Shock in my opinion is clunky and heavy. The bike feels lighter and the steering nimbler with the rigid replacement. Even on a gravel ride I would try the rigid...I run gravel tires low pressure. I prefer the feedback feel from the road/trail. The product is to spec and if you have a standard stem for the handlebars, you will not need the insert that is required for the Future Shock. I did not use the carbon cap that Chris provided or the original cap as they are not required for steering tube/bearing tension and the aluminum replacement has Chris's company logo embossed on the top. Looks really cool. I just put the cap screw back in for aesthetics.

Great. It's easy to replace from Future Shock 3.2.
