Not enough yarn to complete project

1st time buying a kit for a pattern by MJ’s Off the Hook. Loved the pattern. The yarn was beautiful, but difficult to work with. Not very forgiving if you need to remove stitches. Trying to unravel the gauge swatch was horrible. In my opinion, the amount of yarn in the kit was short. My gauge was correct but the yarn ran out before I was able to finish the final few inches of the ribbing. 😢 I’ll think twice next time before purchasing a kit.
