Wonderful Piece of Work!

I bought this after tiring of the electronic metronome that I have. I am principally a classical guitar and Renaissance lute player, who is working toward some proficiency with the cello. First, a mechanical metronome is far more engaging and fun. It truly helps to work within the beat as well as on the beat - rather than the impersonal "knock" of an electronic tick. Second, the volume of the Wittner Taktell Super Mini is perfect for my guitar, lute and cello - with and without a cello mute. It is not overpowering. It works wonderfully within the scheme of practice and sight reading. Lastly, it functions perfectly on the slant of my music stand. It does not have to be perfectly vertical to keep time. This is a huge convenience, rather than having it on a nearby shelf. It is very well constructed. I highly recommend this metronome.
