Fruit & Nut Birdseed Mix

The birds where I live are picky, and prefer millet in their nut and fruit seed mixes, but they liked this seed mix. It has a good amount of nuts in it, and the fruit doesn’t include raisins, which makes it safer for dogs in the neighborhood. I think that it would be a good seed mix to use in the late summer and fall. When birds prefer to eat apples. The seed mix also includes cherries, which birds love to eat in the summer. Although this seed mix can be given to any species of bird who loves fruit during every season of the year. And birds enjoy eating fruit in the winter time as well. Because it has shelled sunflower seeds, it should be placed in a ground bird feeder or platform feeder so the sunflower seeds don’t spoil as quickly.

Love the seed but the shipping cost as much as the product. Won't be buying again.

I really love this product for the critters in my yard (mostly birds and squirrels). They gobble it up in no time and come back to ask (demand...) more. I began ordering Fruit & Nut Birdseed Mix since my local stores, here in Virginia, only offered products that included raisins. As raisins can be toxic to dogs, I wanted to be certain that my terrier wouldn't accidentally ingest any raisins when he feeds on the spillage. Even with today's high cost of shipping, my purchase was 14% cheaper than buying 20 pounds of local quality mix.
