Not worth the price. Most of the content preloaded onto the device is bad—the meditations are a joke and the classical music is collected into playlist of fragments by a person who I doubt enjoys classical music. Ambient sounds are nice if you live in the city or near a highway and need to drown out noise, but the price tag does not justify this function alone when a 30 dollar braun alarm clock is just as effective, even less instrusive, and frankly more charming for the purpose of an alarm, while any old device one already has can be set to play the sounds one may need to go to sleep from another room, if need so be,—while also having the ability to taper off into silence after an allotted time. A wifi set-up is absurd for an alarm clock. An app is absurd for an alarm clock. For a fraction of the price there are alarms without the superfulous features and pretensions that are just as good if not better.

A diamond in the rough
As the title suggests, this product really is a diamond in the rough. With so many options available for sound machines, it's very rare to actually find one that sounds good. It's even more rare to find a good one that also serves as an alarm clock. IF you can find a good sound machine that also pairs as an alarm clock, you can almost be certain that it comes with a paid subscription. This product however, gives the full range of sounds and features completely free! That alone is worth the purchase. I have thoroughly enjoyed this alarm clock.
